Launch
Login to bwVisu
To log in, you need to be connected to your institution's network, either by physically being on campus or by using your institution's VPN.
Clicking on → Launch ← or typing ki-morph.de/launch
in your browser will open the bwVisu login page.
Connection Issue
If you see a "Forbidden" message, please verify that you are properly connected to your university's network.
Search for your institution in the dropdown menu and click on "proceed". This will redirect you to the login page of your institution. Enter your username and the associated password. Some institutions require a second authentication factor, which is usually a 6-digit number generated by an authentication app on your smartphone, that you configured during the registration process.
After entering these credentials, you will be redirected to the bwVisu platform.
Launching KI-morph
On the page that is now loading we can start KI-Morph. To do so we need to enter a few configuration parameters. The default values should be sufficient for most cases.
Runtime (m)
Job runtime in minutes. This cannot be changed after KI-Morph has been started. So make sure to request enough time for your session. If KI-Morph takes a long time to start, this may be because many people are using bwVisu simultaneously. In this case, you can consider reducing the requested time to improve your chances of starting sooner.
Memory (GB)
Amount of memory to request in GB. We recommend using the maximum available amount of 50GB.
CPU Cores
Number of CPU cores to request. One CPU core is sufficient for most tasks in KI-Morph.
GPUs
Number of GPUs to request. We recommend using the maximum available amount of 4 GPUs. If KI-Morph takes a long time to start, you can decrease the number of requested GPUs. It should, however, be at least 1 GPU.
Reservation
Reservation on the cluster. Leave this at the default "bwvisu"
